NKF Golf Classic!

We went to the National Kidney Foundation Golf Classic at the River Creek Club.

We snapped the event's host, former Super Bowl champion and ProView’s Doc Walker, flanked by D.C. United defenders Steve Birnbaum and Taylor Kemp.

NBC4 chief meteorologist Doug Kammerer with NKF National Capital Area executive director Michele Anthony. Over 100 amateur golfers raised $100k to fight kidney disease and compete for an invite to Pebble Beach  for the NKF Golf Classic national finals next January.

The golf classic featured numerous athletes, including former NFL players and DC United players. Here, Back 9 Network’s Lou Holder, an Emmy award-winning sports personality, with the Wizards PA Announcer Ralph Wesley, aka The Voice of the Wizards.

Two-time Super Bowl winning former 'Skins Clarence Vaughn is flanked by NKF volunteers Caitriona Johnson and Heidi Webb. NKF is the leading organization in the US dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease for millions of patients and their families, and tens of millions at risk.
