Night of Vision!

Saturday night we went to the Four Seasons for the Prevention of Blindness Society's Night of Vision gala. We snapped American Girl author Valerie Tripp who was honored with the Community Service Award. She's surrounded by her husband Montgomery College's Michael Tripp and by Mo Co Public Schools’ Jeff and Jill Martinez.

A celebrity sightings theme brought out posters of Madonna, Brad and Angie, and Bradley Cooper, along with Hollywood décor and a glamorous auction. Here, American Society of Clinical Oncology's Alaap Shah, Becker Glynn's Prashanth Murali and Foley Hoag's Gisela Paris.

Auction items were divided into categories such as fashion, embassy, experience, art, and signed celebrity photos. Here, Friendship Surgery Center's Mary Craddock, Colleen Ryan, with Dr. Lenny Friedman, and Ethridge Quinn’s Dana Whitten.

Guests enjoyed passed wine, vegetable spring rolls, and fried shrimp on a stick during the reception. Here, POB president Jan Brown and his wife Jean.
