Night of Heroes!

Last night we were blinded by the stars (on uniforms, that is) at the RitzCarlton during PenFed Foundations annual Night of Heroes Gala. We snapped Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki,right, who received the American Hero award, here with his wife Patty; at left, Wayside Elementarys Joyce Eisenberg and her husband PenFed GC Steve Eisenberg.

The organization supports unmet military needs; its building a free hotel for vets called the Defenders Lodge. Here, Skins Darrel Young, who has military family, is flanked by PenFed EVP Shashi Vohra, and Formula Strategy Group prez Cyrus Zolghadri.

The dinner opened with a traditional military salute; country music artist Josh Gracin serenaded later. Here, APi Group chair Lee Anderson, who with his wife was given special recognition, PenFed prez Chris Flynn, and vet Justin Constantine.
