Nats Dream Gala!

Saturday night we went to the new Marriott Marquis for the 9th Annual Dream Gala, the primary fundraiser for the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation.

We snapped Nats star outfielder Bryce Harper and fiancé Kayla Varner, who made their first public appearance as an engaged couple. Congrats! At left, Nats second baseman Danny Espinosa’s fiancé Sarah Mosher.

Teddy and Nats’ GM Mike Rizzo are bookended by Sandi and Dr. Howard Hoffman. The Dream Gala has raised more than $3.4 million for the Dream Foundation’s three programs for children’s education, health, and recreation.

Washington Nationals team owners Ted and Annette Lerner. The foundation’s Nationals Youth Baseball Academy opened in March and uses baseball and softball to promote academic success, positive character, and improved health for at-risk DC youth.
