Last night we also went to Nats Park to watch the Nationals take on the Mets after 11 games on the road. In an exciting game, the Nats won 4-2; all four of our runs came in the fifth inning. At one nail-biting moment, the Mets had the bases loaded and only one out, but Washington held them to one run. Another scary moment came when star center fielder Denard Span made an unbelievable catch and crashed into the back wall. We heaved a sigh of relief when he walked off the field.
