National Journal & Atlantic WHCD Party!

It was a star-studded evening at the Washington Hilton Saturday, with celebrities, journalists and political figures coming together for the highly anticipated White House Correspondents Dinner, or as many call it, the Nerd Prom.

We kicked the night off at the National Journal & The Atlantic pre-dinner reception and snapped Veep’s Tim Simons and True Detective’s Michelle Monaghan.

Madam Secretary’s Tea Leoni and Face the Nation’s Bob Schieffer, who recently announced that he will be retiring early this summer, after being with CBS News 46 years.

Madam Secretary’s Tim Daly and the real Madame Secretary Madeleine Albright, are with Harvard prof Cass Sunstein and his wife, U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power.

CBS This Morning’s Gayle King with daughter Kirby Bumpus.

The Donald and wife Melania stopped to chat while walking the red carpet.
