Guests walked the green carpet lined with white flowers into a tented garden party complete with a pink fence, hanging floral motifs, trees, and pink, purple, green and blue lounge furniture. We snapped The American Institute of Architects’ Milan Jordan, Erin Murphy, Ann Dorough, Marta Zaniewski and Ming Hu.

Bacon-wrapped scallops, beef-and-arugula crostini and heirloom tomato tartlettes were passed as guests listened to live garden music. Pictured are SmithGroupJJR’s David Varner, Merrill St. Leger, Sven Shockey and Rennie Grant.

The night recognized individuals and organizations that have made important contributions to the nation’s building heritage. After the cocktail reception, guests sat for a three-course plated dinner with spring avocado salad, quinoa-crusted rockfish and assorted chocolate bark. Here, National Building Museum’s Susan Breitkopf, Betsy May-Salazar, Jamee Telford and Gabriela Guerra.
