N Street Gala!

Tuesday night, we braved the snowy conditions and made it downtown to the Marriott Marquis for the annual N Street Village Gala!

We snapped Marriott president and CEO Arne Sorenson with N Street chief development officer Stuart Allen and N Street patron Mark London. Sorenson and his wife, Ruth, were honored with the Founder's Award for their commitment to N Street Village over the years, including Ruth's service as board vice chair for the past four years.

During the program, board chair Peter Shields made the surprise announcement that N Street Village had just completed the organization's $9M capital campaign. Here, Marie Royce with her husband, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Rep. Ed Royce.

Before the main program, guests enjoyed a reception featuring an open bar, silent auction items and delicious appetizers. Here, supporter Sharon Cady joins gala steering committee member Allison Putala, her husband, Putala Strategies' Chris Putala, and Arent Fox's and former Sen. Byron Dorgan.

Following the reception, guests made their way to the lavish ballroom for the dinner and awards program.
