Last night we went to a Swedish-African Fusion Musical with the International Professionals Group at the Embassy of Sweden.

We saw performances by Maher & Sousou,a Swedish/Senagalese couple who share a destiny shaped by music. She grew up in Sweden and fell in love with the kora, a West African stringed instrument. Hes from a well-known family in Senegal, and learned to play the kora at an early age. We snapped them (right) with their percussionist Salieu Dibba.
