Motown: The Musical!

Last night we headed to the National Theatre to see the opening night of Motown: The MusicalThe show was written by Berry Gordy based off events in his life and the establishment of the Motown record label. Here Berry Gordy himself joins the cast on stage for the curtain call at the end of the performance.

Members of the audience were literally dancing in their seats and singing along to many amazing hit songs, including the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" seen here with young Michael Jackson being performed by Leon Outlaw, Jr. Leon's voice was truly incredible with many in the audience remarking on how much he sounded like the original.
