Monte Carlo Night!

Saturday we went to Reagan National Airport Historic Terminal A for the 10th annual Leadership Arlington Monte Carlo Night.

The New York, New York theme was in the skyscraper centerpieces, champagne and dapper outfits worn by the 450 guests. We snapped Reston Chamber of Commerce’s Mark Ingrao, Capital Adventures’ Ellie McMullen, Ballston BID’s Tina Leone and BBGM’s Bruno Grinwis.

Guests sipped on drinks such as the Cosmopolitan and The Big Apple while browsing through the silent auction filled with lunches, wine classes, restaurant gift cards and Arlington Trolley pub tours. VIP guests joined the high rollers table for a true Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. Here, Arlington Co. gov’t’s Amanda Charles, Accenture’s Natalia Lerner and JGL Development’s Josh Lewis.

Proceeds benefited Leadership Arlington’s mission to enlighten, inspire and connect leaders to strengthen the community, and for its youth program, which enhances leadership skills, philanthropy awareness and community service in high school students. Here, The Advisory Board’s Graham McLaughlin, Boeing’s Tom Bartlett and Todd Yeatts, and Martin & Gass’ Cindy Martin.

The Wine Pull game was a huge hit, as participants purchased a “pull” for $20 or three “pulls” for $50 and selected a number from the wine board that corresponded with a wrapped bottle of wine for a chance to win it. Here, Encore Learning’s Marjorie Varner and her husband, Smith Group JJR’s David Varner, are with the gov’t’s Melissa and Steve Simmons.
