Monte Carlo Night!

We headed to the annual Monte Carlo Night hosted by Leadership Arlington at Reagan National Airport as an historic terminal became an elegant black tie affair.

Proceeds benefit Leadership Arlington’s youth program, which enhances skills and awareness of the need for philanthropy in students. We snapped JLL’s Megan LeMense, and Kimberly Scull, surrounded by their husbands, Shooshan Company’s Joe LeMense and Brian Scull.

The evening’s theme, The Great Gatsby, transformed this unique venue to a 1920’s art deco party, with lots of pearls and feathers, and a speak easy-style auction area. Here, Arlington Magazine’s Greg Hamilton and his wife Maureen, and NOWCC’s Cito Vanegas and his wife Dominique.

A delicious buffet was prepared for 450 attendees, who ate black angus short ribs, apricot-glazed salmon, and multi-hued potatoes baked in gruyere cheese. Here, Monday Properties’ Jennifer Burns, Bainbridge’s Benjamin Underwood, and TTR Sotheby’s Kate Foster-Bankey.

An open bar had classic mint julep and French 75 specialty cocktails. Everyone danced the night away with live music. Here, Bowen McCauley Dance’s Dustin Kimball, Alicia Curtis, Joan Ayap, and Mimmo Miccolis.
