Lam's couture jewelery has been featured in Elle and Vogue Italia. Her luxury pop-up shop will be at The Living Room at the W through Feb. 10. We snapped the woman of the hour, Lam, flanked by her daughter Kai Sia and photographer Jacqui DePas.

Lam also unveiled a couture, full-length gown made of her signature metal lace weighing more than 70 pounds, encrusted with cherry blossoms over more than 100,000 Swarovski crystals. The gown will serve as a new interactive design and fundraising component at the Pink Tie Party on March 16, where attendees will be able to buy replicas of pieces of the dress to raise money for the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Here, National Cherry Blossom Festival executive director Diana Mayhew (wearing a Mindy Lam-made cherry blossoms pin) is flanked by festival committee members Assata Lee, John Sibley and Andrea Coffee.

Guests received beauty-focused gift bags with hair and skin care goodies from Mielle Organics, and a new natural organic skin and hair care line launching soon, Frances Carol. The three-day pop-up will benefit the Junior League of Washington with 15% of the event’s proceeds going there.
