Journalist Maureen Orth, her son NBC correspondent Luke Russert, and loads of friends came together to raise funds for a school in Columbia.
Maureen has been sponsoring the school for years, since she encountered these kids when she was in the Peace Corps. Guests contributed to One Laptop per Child, drank mojitos, listened to a great Latin salsa band, and appreciated that the rain held off for the third annual Marina Orth Foundation Benefit poolside at Casa Orth.
We snapped former ambassador Molly Raiser, right, her daughter photographer Skye Raiser, and son-in-law Goldman Sachs' David Perlin. To date, funds raised have provided computers, English language instruction and leadership training to over 3,000 children in Colombia.
