We went to the Mardi Gras Extravaganza at Union Market's Dock 5. We partied N'awlins style on Fat Tuesday with lots of beads, feathers and masks at the first-ever event. DC restaurants served Southern-style dishes like Acadiana's deviled eggs with Southern ham salad, The Source's roast beef po' boy with debris gravy, and Woodward Table' grillades and grits.
