We went to the Mardi Gras Extravaganza at Union Market's Dock 5. We partied N'awlins style on Fat Tuesday with lots of beads, feathers and masks at the first-ever event. DC restaurants served Southern-style dishes like Acadiana's deviled eggs with Southern ham salad, The Source's roast beef po' boy with debris gravy, and Woodward Table' grillades and grits. Here, Good Stuff Eatery's Cliff Luhn, Sally Kluthe and co-chair, Bayou Bakery's Davis Guas.
