Last night we went to a Black History Month celebration at a private residence on DC’s Argonne Place.
We snapped the guest of honor, Kweku Mandela, humanitarian and grandson of Nelson Mandela, with Taste Gastropub’s Biani Seested.
We watched a trailer for Beyond Right & Wrong, which follows victims of three conflicts —Rwandan Genocide, Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, and Northern Ireland--as they struggle to forgive without sacrificing their need for justice. The party had gourmet fare by Taste Gastropub. Its owner Vic Seested is bookended by Techbeam Solutions' James Cudjoe and Washington Lawyers Committee's Rhonda Cunningham Holmes.
