Man & Woman of the Year!

The LLS Man & Woman of the Year held its gala Saturday at the downtown Ritz and celebrated the record-breaking amount the candidates raised: $1.145 million. Fox5s Laura Evans, here with husband Mike Manatos, was co-emcee.

Congrats to the winners, the top fundraisers in the fight to cure blood cancers: 2013 Man & Woman of the Year MorganFranklins Jeana Foster and Northwestern Mutuals Leo Tucker, here with last years champ, Cassidy Turleys Amanda Tiede.

And congrats to the 2013 Boy & Girl of the Year, Reed Switzer and Madison Nardi, here with their families, who were honored for providing inspiration to the 19 candidates during the 10-week fundraising campaign for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
