Magic & Miracles!

We went to Magic & Miracles at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in the H Street Corridor. The gala celebrates the work of Ready Willing & Working, raising funds for programs that empower individuals through rehabilitating work opportunities. We snapped its president, Patty Brosmer, surrounded by her colleague, Men In Blue team member Andre Tobe, playwright Piso Mojado, and filmmaker Matt MccLean.

The eighth annual gala included a live band, food from local restaurants, a silent auction, and an inspirational video presentation reflecting Ready, Willing, & Working's efforts to solve homelessness and criminal recidivism. Here, Capitol Hill BID Board Member John Gordon, National Capital Bank's Deborah Keets and Kathy Didden, US Mint's Geoff Simonds and Coldwell Banker's Mark Edwards.

Ready, Willing, & Working is supported by many local organization with aligning causes, including The Heritage Foundation; here, its reps, Janine Ryan, Ann Beckwith and Brittany Balmer.

Precision Meetings & Events' Nancy Broers, Coldwell Banker's Chuck Burger and Capitol Hill Ambassador's India Person.

Richelle Castillo & Liz Ovits contributed to this issue.
