Luncheon for the Mall!

Yesterday we headed to the National Mall for the seventh annual Trust for the National Mall luncheon.

The annual luncheon hosted over 1,000 supporters of the National Mall and has become a major springtime event for politicos and the DC business community. We snapped Trust supporter Diana Kogan with former Undersecretary of State Jim Glassman and his wife Beth, who’s on the Women's Committee.

Trust founder Chip Akridge, who was recognized with the inaugural Award for the National Mall for all his work through the years, at the head table with Bill Marriott.

Sotheby's Michelle Galler, Friend of Trust Katherine Saunders, and Roxanne Pincus Women's Committee co-chair.

National Mall Trust patrons Susan and Brad Parker with Women's Committee members Blair Bourne and Elizabeth Carmen. Before the program, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with crab appetizers and blackberry lemonade.

DC mayoral candidate Muriel Bowser and Marriott's Ron Harrison. The three-course luncheon featured seared scallops and beef tenderloin.
