L'Odyssée Film Screening!

We went to the House Foreign Affairs Committee Room in the Rayburn Office Building for an exclusive film screening of "L'Odyssée," a film about Jacques Yves-Cousteau. We snapped entertainment journalist and TV host Ashlan Cousteau with the film's director and producer, Jerome Salle, EarthEcho International co-founder Jan Cousteau and her son, environmental advocate, TV host and EarthEcho International's Philippe Cousteau Jr.

Lala Abdurahimova and her husband, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Elin Suleymanov, join the evening's hosts, Marie Royce and House Foreign Affairs Chairman Rep. Ed Royce with the Ambassador of Albania, Floreta Faber. Ed Royce, who represents the 39th District of California, is the chairman and founder of the International Congressional Conservation Caucus, a bipartisan group of members of Congress dedicated to conservation efforts.

Prior to the screening, guests enjoyed a reception in the committee room featuring an open bar of beer and wine and a spread of appetizers. Here, the Embassy of France's Ben Cormier, Pierre Michel and Sarah Sellouk.
