Leukemia Ball Happening this Saturday, March 22!

Nearly 2,000 area business leaders will be at the 27th Annual Leukemia Ball, Presented by PhRMA this Saturday, March 22, says 2014 Leukemia Ball senior co-chair Candace Duncan, here with last year’s comedian, Jim Belushi. The Ball raises money for innovative life-saving research and patient programs funded by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, LLS. On Saturday, Huey Lewis and the News and comedian Ryan Hamilton bring their talents to the 2014 shindig: Imagine Someday Is Today. LLS’s mission is to cure blood cancers and provide help to patients and their families. The Ball is one of the most anticipated non-political black-ties of the year. Candace, retired managing partner, KPMG Metro Area, has been working hard with co-chair and BB&T Bank Group prez Dan Waetjen to make this year’s gala a success. Few tickets remain. Raffle prize: a Mercedes Benz! For more info and to register, click here.
