Leukemia Ball!

We went to three great galas, starting with one of DC's largest, The Leukemia Ball, at the Convention Center, which has raised over $52M since 1988.

The Ball raises funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s and myeloma, and to improve the lives of patients and their families. We snapped honored survivor, 9-year-old Vishav Chopra, with Nationals closer Jonathan Papelbon flanked by his wife, Ashley Papelbon, and Vishav's father, Vikas Chopra.

LLS surpassed a $3.2M goal for 2016 at Fund the Fight. Here, JLL CEO Greg O'Brien, LLS volunteer Lynne O'Brien, their daughter Kate O'Brien, and 'Skins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan.

The Fox5 table: Tucker Barnes, Caitlin Roth, Tom Fitzgerald, Shawn Yancy, Laura Evans, Tony Perkins, and Ronica Cleary. A white carpet entrance, extravagant silent auction, lobster and filet dinner, and two Mercedes-Benz raffle giveaways added to the evening.

Over 2,000 attendees enjoyed the tunes of Barenaked Ladies and comedic performance by Kathleen Madigan.
