LearnServe Gala!

We headed to the Howard Theatre in Shaw for LearnServe International's Seeding Social Innovation Gala! We snapped the evening's speaker, author and former The Scene publisher Margot Machol Bisnow with gala chair Rebecca Linder and board members Rachel Hutt, James Heinemann and Craig Rocklin.

LearnServe International equips high school students from diverse backgrounds with the entrepreneurial vision and leadership skills needed to tackle social challenges at home and abroad. Following the reception, guests headed downstairs for the dinner and dessert buffet, as well as a conversation with Margot about entrepreneurs and the mothers who raised them. Here, Up Top Acres co-founder Jeffrey Prost-Greene with Coral Vita co-founder Sam Teicher, who both have built companies dedicated to social and environmental change.

The Maret School's Natalie Hill joins School Without Walls principal Simone Anderson and Christina Cole, whose son, Chris Cole, presented.
