Saturday night we went to Le Dîner en Blanc, or dinner in white, the world's largest secret dinner party.
This year's très chic picnic commenced at The Carnegie Library; as always, the location was announced only minutes before the event. We snapped Massey-Peabody Analytics' Rufus Peabody and Cultural Vistas' Claire Macfarlane, bookended by Brightfind's Justin Atkinson and Emily Whitt.
Guests brought their own tables, chairs, picnic baskets, white linens, and of course their most stylish white ensembles. Dîner en Blanc started in Paris 25 years ago with the intention of friendship, elegance and gallantry. This year, 2,500 DC-ites gathered at the sold-out event to experience the fashion, fine dining and fun.
