Launch Party!

Last night we also went to a launch party at NPR HQ’s Studio One on North Capitol Street for XAPP media, which allows mobile listeners to “voice click” for audio ads, download apps, and get info or coupons, by speaking, hands free. We snapped the CEO Pat Higbie bookended by BIA/Kelsey managing director Richard Ducey and by Exoventure managing director Marco Rubin. NPR was XAPP’s first customer.

Over 200 braved the rain to celebrate, sip cocktails, snack on hors d’oeuvres, and hear a short presentation by Frank and Pat, who thanked all of the FOXes for coming out. They weren’t being sexist; FOX stands for Friend of XAPP. Here, the XAPP media team: CTO John Kelvie, CMO Bret Kinsella, SVP Lisa Namerow, CEO Pat Higbie, Exec Board chair Frank Raines, lead developer Michael Myers, and Board member Harley Radin.
