We embraced our inner-Francophile and celebrated Le Grande Fete de La Franchophonie at the Embassy of France. We snapped Johnson Controls’ Rachel Wyatt, Dhira Gregory, and Andre Greco flanking Global Networks’ Richard Swanson.
The sold-out event allowed guests to explore the world in one place, with over 35 embassies of French-speaking countries presenting their unique cultures and cuisines. Here, the ladies representing Burkina Faso showed off memorabilia from their home country and offered delish hibiscus flower and ginger juice.
There was international entertainment by Benin’s Jomion & the Uklos and France’s post-punk rocker band La Femme. Here, Walter Diaz, Microsoft’s Nina Ward, GWU’s Sarah Haile, and Washington Dental Studio’s Albert Coombs.
