The Louisiana State Society got DC ready for Mardi Gras (its Feb. 12 if you want to plan) with its annual King Cake party at the Mighty Pint. Many sported the carnivals official colors--purple, green, and gold--including AARPs Ally Funk and House of Reps staffer Neal Kirby. They surround the clubs current prez Michelle Cormier Mott and her husband Jared of the Bull Moose Sportsmans Alliance.
About 90 stopped by the bar to grab a slice (or three) of cake from the 14 shipped from Louisianas top bakeries, such as Randazzos and Haydels. We snapped DCIs Seth Guidry, who enlisted his moms bakery, the Cajun Pecan House. Hes with Craft Medias Caroline Lee and someone who looks like he hopes hell get on a float.
