Last night, we went to the Swedish Ambassador’s residence to support the Junior Tennis Champions Center, College Park’s JTCC, the nation’s top tennis program.
We snapped big tennis supporters Jerry and Isabel Jasinowski and super lawyer Jonathan Schiller. JTCC was praised for building great Americans, on and off the court, as well as turning out champion tennis players.
Bravo to Ken Brody, who started JTCC, here with his wife Nina. Last year the USTA named it the country’s top tennis development program, with the No. 1 men’s college player and the No. 2 women’s college player, four of the word’s top junior players, and all 18 of this year’s seniors going to play college tennis, with $1.2 million in scholarships.
Eagle Bank chairman Bob Pincus is with tennis legend Donald Dell and basketball legend Tom McMillan. Donald was honored for his contributions to tennis: he started ProServ, the first major sports marketing agency, the Citi Open tournament, the Association of Tennis Professionals, and was the youngest captain to win the Davis Cup.
