We went to Wolf Trap Saturday night where Jim Gaffigan had people rolling in the aisles at his sold out comedy show. The Grammy-nominated comedian, New York Times bestselling author, and graduate of Georgetown Business School finds humor in everyday oddities, from the power of human laziness to the culinary calamity of Hot Pockets. Known for his high-pitched inner voice, his cynicism and self-doubt have cemented him as a familiar face on talk shows. He’s obsessed with food, and tackled fruit, seafood, and donuts. Among his food jokes: “Have you ever looked at medication and it says to not take it on an empty stomach? That’s never been a concern of mine. Technically, I should never go swimming.”
