Cocktail for a Cause!

We stopped by one of DC’s most elegant locales, The Georgetown Club, to support Innocents at Risk’s Cocktail for a Cause. Founder Deborah Sigmund talked about the great advocacy this week by Jada Pinkett Smith on CNN Special Report, Children for Sale: The Fight to End Human Trafficking. We snapped her bookended by Suburban Hospital Foundation Board member Linda Courie and Washington Ballet women’s committee member Carmen Liebeler.

Guests enjoyed light hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction to benefit a great cause. Here, M St. Gallery owner Keith Lipert (who, we hear, sells Madeleine Albright her brooches) with Dr. Suzanne Kim Doud Galli and TTR Sotheby’s Theo Adamstein.

The work that Innocents at Risk accomplishes wouldn’t be possible without their summer intern team, who come from all over the US to support the nonprofit's mission to end human trafficking.
