The Yards is the major mixed-use development by Forest City Washington, encompassing office buildings, apartments, restaurants and retail. Here, Forest City’s David Smith, Jill Fredrick and Debby Ratner Salzberg.

Over 2,000 attendees enjoyed icy cocktails, local D.C. brews, food vendors and live music by Down Wilson and DJ Alkimist and DJ Jerome Baker III. Here, DJ Alkimist performs.

Following the incredible turnout the last three years, this year’s adult-friendly winter wonderland featured a bigger footprint, with its new home on The Yards boardwalk with more bars and more opportunities for guests to enjoy the frozen fun. There were also plenty of interactive ice activities and games including ice Plinko and ice shuffleboard, an ax throwing station, inflatable jousting pit, live ice carving and D.C.’s largest group shotski. Here, ice sculpture artist Jacob Saporito of Ice Labs.
