Saturday we went to Yards Park for the first-ever adult ice bar.
The park was transformed into a winter wonderland with ice bars and sculptures, cocktails, a frosty beer garden, adult snow cones, outdoor fire pits and hot tubs. We snapped US House of Reps’ Arielle Woranoff and Corey Malmgren flanking Specifix Prep’s Patrick Bock.
Staying warm in one of the heated tents: TDA’s Attilio Arcari, Norfolk Public Schools’ Jean Mathwig, USPS’ Lisa Arcari and Casey Tree’s Zand Bakhtiari. Outside the tent was a line for the popular TaKorean’s bbq tacos; Agua 301 and Nando’s PERi-PERi also came to fuel the crowd.
