We went to the Hut Hut for Hope flag football tournament at Walter Pierce Park and the teammate after party at Town Tavern in Adams Morgan. The day benefited Mama Hope, a nonprofit that empowers African communities through enabling sustainable projects. Teams competed for the championship title, gift cards donated by Madam’s Organ and Gringos & Mariachis, and a bar tab at the after party.
