House of Cards!

Last night we went to the DC premiere of Netflixs first original series,House of Cards,at the Newseum.

The show stars Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey in a DC political drama as the House Majority Whip who, after being passed over for Secretary of State, hatches a plot to bring down the prez. We snapped him with Kate Mara, who plays a desperate reporter who makes a deal with Spacey for a scoop that could cost her soul; Robin Wright, who plays his wife; and exec producer Beau Willimon.

All 13 episodes will be available to Netflix members beginning Feb 1. Theres a lot of greed, love and corruption so why would it be in DC?Kristen Connollyplays an exec assistant having an affair with a congressman.

Its exec produced by David Fincher, adapted from a BBC mini-series. Sakina Jaffrey plays the new presidents chief of staff.
