Hope Awards!

Calvary Women’s Services hosted the 14th Annual Hope Awards Dinner at the Reagan Building. More than 300 guests celebrated the successes of women at Calvary, who are working hard to overcome homelessness and live independently again. All proceeds from the gala, which included a cocktail reception and silent and live auctions, will support Calvary’s housing, health, education and employment programs for homeless women. Here, United Way National Capital Area CEO Rosie Allen-Herring, who was presented with the Hope Award, is with Calvary Board member Wanda Gamble, executive director Kris Thompson and Board chair Vicki Sneed.
