Last night we joined 250 at the Ronald Reagan Building for Calvary Womens Services12thannual Hope Awards dinner.

The non-profit gives housing and support to homeless women and just got a new home on Good Hope Road SE; if you want to check it out, open house is the fourth Friday of every month.We snapped exec director Kris Thompson with emcee WUSA 9s JC Hayward.

The silent auction had baskets to make you a master chef, a wine connoisseur, or to give you a green thumb. Here, Northrup Grumman Foundation prez Sandra Evers-Manly, United Ways Lionel Neptune, and Rosetta Stones Kelly Poling.

Honest Teas Josh Jacobs, PWCs Gary Jacobs, board member Stacey Jacobs, and World of Beer store owners Lori and Evan Matz. We surveyed the group and learned that Sam Adams Summer Ale is their drink of choice when the weather gets warm.
