Holocaust Memorial!

While its hard to believe anything was bigger than WHCD over the weekend, we also joined 3,500 at the Holocaust Memorial Museum for the 20thAnniversary tribute, which continued yesterday. We snapped founding chairman, author Elie Wiesel and his wife Marion.

The event was held in a pop-up tent across from the museum, with messages in lights on the ceiling: never forget, secure the future, what you do matters. We snapped Justice John Roberts.

Elie joined Bill Clinton yesterday for the official national tribute. Here, Covington & Burlingtons Stu Eizenstat and Peter Safir flank Peters wife, New Century Advisors CEO Ellen Safir; at right, Qorvis partner Archibald Smart.We ateroasted halibut with leeks and carrots, with kosher and non-kosher options for the massive crowd.

The evenings highest award went to the millions of US troops who fought in WWII. Here, World Strides CEO Jim and wife Kendra Hall, VP Neal Waldman and wife Julie, and Beth Campbell with her husband MBA student Jeff Campbell during the reception.
