History And Hops!

Last night, we headed to the Heurich House Museum in Dupont Circle for its most recent installment of History & Hops! We snapped consultant Sara Gray with mechanical engineer Mike Hoffacker, data analyst Tom Nealon and fundraiser Katie Dorsey. History & Hops is a monthly series at the former Dupont Circle home of DC’s most successful brewer, Christian Heurich.

Attendees enjoyed self-guided tours through Heurich’s well-preserved Victorian mansion, which features information about his brewery and the DC region’s rich brewing history. Here, educators Trevor Holland and Andy Sonn with public affairs guru Anna Mikulak and eat.Yoga.drink's Erin Sonn, who teaches yoga at local breweries.

History & Hops is held on the third Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and the museum partners with a local beer insiders for house tours, beer tastings and conversations about the beer industry. Here, government contractor Shaun Harrison with environmental analyst Cory Jemison and engineer Mikel Solupe.
