Hirshhorn Museum Gala!

Saturday, we celebrated the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden at its spring gala!

Five local artists, Sam Gilliam, Linn Meyers, Maggie Michael, Jefferson Pinder and Dan Steinhilber were honored by the Hirshhorn for their art, creativity and remarkable vision. We snapped Christine Demos and the Hirshhorn's Amy Bower, Stephanie Aquin and Sandy Guttman.

Guests were treated to a night of dots, dinner and dancing. The three-course dinner was lobster and pickled crab, miso black cod and cucumber, mint and lime sorbet. Here, Ella Levitz, Manus Cooney, Elijah and Katie Sullivan, Ellen McCarthy, Greg Keller, Theresa Cooney and Elizabeth Keller.

Legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusuma's Infinity Mirrors exhibition was the highlight of the night. Guests had the opportunity to step inside each of the kaleidoscopic mirrored rooms and also view her most recent paintings, My Eternal Soul. Here, NumNuts' Chika Griswold, Entertainment One's Aynsley Vogel, and Tim Peters.

We listened to music by the Holladay Brothers, who put on a creative display of visual music and sound, surrounded by lamps that lit up to each beat. Here, NewsPop's Cathy Stocker, Faster Curious' Margaret Anderson, Sofia Blake, Gina Brezina and Liz Adams.
