HEROES Gala!

We went to The Ritz-Carlton for the 8th annual Heroes Curing Childhood Cancer Gala.

The gala benefited Children’s National Medical Center's pediatric oncology. We snapped gala co-chairs Chris and Caroline King with supporters Jana and Karel Kansky.

The festive black tie gala, with over 500 guests, started with a VIP cocktail reception and exciting live auction. Here, GW Hospital's Director of Cardiac Surgery Farzad Najam, his wife, Sariah Najam, and gala committee member and Morgan Stanley's Masud Akbar.

Following the reception, guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal. Here, Board Member Josephine Fleming and her son, Optoro's Steven Fleming, bookend iStrategy Labs' Ally Montemurro.

Guests danced late into the evening. Here, gala sponsor Grossberg Co's Marie Marshall, her husband, David Marshall, with gala co-chair and Wilkes Artis' Eric Kassoff.

Supporter Jack Donnelly, his wife, Christies' Nancy Itteilag Donnelly, with gala sponsor Dianne Kay, and her son, The Fleisher Group's Michael Kay.
