Monday night, we headed to the Lincoln Theater on U Street for the 33rd annual Helen Hayes Awards! We snapped TodayTix's Rachel Birnbaum with theatreWashington president Amy Austin and board chairman Kurt Crowl.

The Helen Hayes Awards recognize outstanding achievement in more than 90 professional theaters across the Washington metropolitan area. Here, Infinity Theatre Company's JP Coletta, who was nominated for Best Lead Actor in Musical for Million Dollar Quartet, with Gwynne Wood and Infinity Theatre Company's co-producing artistic director Anna Roberts Ostroff.

Prior to the awards show, guests enjoyed cocktails in the lobby. Here Marsha dePoo and Will Cooper join Paul dePoo, who was nominated for best set design for Titanic at Signature Theatre.

TheatreWashington's Michael Kyrioglou joins actress Astrid Van Wieren, who starred in Come From Away and was nominated for best featured actress in a musical, with Helen Hayes judge Daniel Mori.
