Saturday we joined thousands of DC area residents at the Convention Center for the annual NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo. Hundreds of exhibitors came to show us the best in health and fitness. Guests participated in zumba and yoga classes, rock climbing, a walking track, obstacle courses, and push-up, sit-up and squat challenges by Gold’s Gym. We snapped GEICO’s Gecko with Mary Washington Hospital’s Tecia Epps and GEICO’s Tamra Snellings.
This year the focus expanded to mental health with a Changing Minds pavilion with information. Free health check-ups were offered, including kidney, hearing, vision, breast and prostate.
