Happy Valentine’s Day!

Last night we went to Signed, Sealed, Delivered: a party at the National Postal Museum.

We love the Post Office motto: Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. And we were so happy the Postal Museum decided to honor it and keep its party on! We snapped One Medical Group's Tara Simpson with Ashley Maru, Leigh Page, and Stephanie Lawmann.

Guests got a head start on Valentine's Day with a cool celebration of the power of connection: before we emailed, texted, and Instagramed, we sent sweet messages with a stamp. Here, Paulette Lopez with chemist Jordan Petit.

The evening was part of the Smithsonian's 21-plus after-hours event series, a mix of culture, art, history, science, music, drinks, and special access to Smithsonian exhibits. Here, Samantha Goss and Skyta Lilly with National Cooperative Bank's Kathryn Schramm.

Guests enjoyed a special presentation by Story League, DC's popular live storytelling organization, drinks, music by DJ Trayze, and a chance to make handmade cards for their crush by using vintage postage, ink stamps, and specialty papers.
