Great Gatsby Ball!

Saturday we went to the International Club of DC Great Gatsby Ball at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. We snapped Marion Colomer, GWU’s Kimberly Pendleton and James Francis, with Fanny Legrand.

Guests got a chance to experience the glamor and extravagance of the 1920s exemplified in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby. Here, Alexandria City Public Schools’ Marisa Silva, with her parents Sylvia and Ruben Corona.

Guests danced to the Doc Scantlin Orchestra, which played 1920s-era tunes: swing, waltz, tango, and other dance music. Here, Chris Diminick, Embassy of Portugal’s Sofia Garcia, and AllPro Solutions’ Leonard Abreu.

Guests enjoyed a Great Gatsby dessert feast with wine, champagne, and cocktails. Here, Stephanie Jaspec, Anne Bolen, and Fairfax County Public Schools’ Camilla Nordh.
