Last night, we headed to the Hamilton Live for the annual GRAMMYs on the Hill!

Here, four-time Grammy winner Keith Urban performs on stage to the delight of the attendees. Urban received the Recording Artist's Coalition Award for his musical achievements and commitment to music education programs across the country.

Here Grammy-winning blues singer Bobby Rush and Record of the Year Grammy-winner Boo Mitchell (who produced "Uptown Funk") surround The Recording Academy's Nashville regional director, Susan Stewart.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee joins Wynonna Judd as she performs on stage. Wynonna invited the roughly 60 members of Congress in attendance up on stage while she was performing.

Prior to the main program, we were given exclusive access to the VIP reception, where members of the Recording Academy rubbed elbows with members of Congress. Here, Kimme Warner joins rock musician Kip Winger.

The VIP reception featured an open bar with delicious passed hors d'oeuvres. Here, Lewis McKisset joins Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán with Rep. Ro Khanna and his wife, Ritu Khanna.

Grammys on the Hill has become the most interesting mix of music and politics. Case in point: rapper Paul Wall, with former Speaker of the House and current Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, with record producer and the Recording Academy chairman John Poppo.

Later today, the Academy will bring more than 100 accomplished music creators from across the country for their Hill Advocacy Day. Here, Seinfeld composer Jonathan Wolff joins House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy and Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen.
