Last night we headed to The Hamilton to watch music and politics unite at the Recording Academy’s GRAMMYS on the Hill Awards.
We snapped Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Heywood flanking CA Rep. Kevin McCarthy. They’re bookended by TX Rep. Blake Farenthold and his wife Debbie and by Recording Academy prez Neil Portnow.
GA Rep. Doug Collins (right, here with his wife Lisa) shared the stage with Los Lonely Boys, Hanson, and Lady Antebellum and SESAC songwriters Gary Burr and Victoria Shaw for a special performance of the song Fair they wrote together. They’re with (left) MS Rep. Gregg Harper and his wife Maggie bookending Ben Hester.
Superstar multiple Grammy winner Dionne Warwick was there. (We know we had her picture in yesterday from a different event, but, hey, she’s Dionne Warwick.) She’s with honoree Rep. Nancy Pelosi and the Recording Academy’s Christine Albert.
