Gold Cup!

What's better than the most fun horse race in the country on the most beautiful day of the year? Saturday, we went to the 90th Running of the Virginia Gold Cup in The Plains.

We spent a spectacular afternoon tailgating, watching horse racing, sun soaking and hat admiring. We snapped JBG's Taylor Kaluber, Sensis' Adrianne Peschard, NewBrand's Jennifer Gerhard, Weber Shandwick's Casey Shea, Aerotek's Caitlyn Conte and The Madison prez Kaitlyn Kiley.

Judges scored the tent competition on the North and South Rails and Members' Hill in categories including best racing theme, most outrageous and most glamorous. Here, Mars' Donny Quesenberry, Zurich's Vinnie Arcana and Steve Harrington, Parallel Risk Advisors' Jessica Gray, Clark Construction's Wayne Gray and Lockton's Allison Fogarty.

We visited Becky's Fund's Investing in Hope Tent, which has fundraised against domestic violence for over nine years. Here, founder Becky Lee is surrounded by CBS Radio's Guy Lambert and Billionaires Row CEO William Benson, and by Qatar Airways' Jackson Gerst and CCAA Events' Clarence Wright.

Artemis Real Estate's Jenny Brondyk and Inova Health Systems' Shauna Walker are flanked by DRI Development Services' Michael Murphy and Gordon Chase.

Of course, Bisnow Media had a tent; here, the Bisnow team, basking in the sunshine.
