Getaround!

Also last night, at Union Market, another car sharing service launched in DC: Getaround. With almost 2,000 attendees, the party was huge for the tech and startup communities. Bisnow fave, rock pianist ELEW, performed. He's here flanked by Getaround founders Sam Zaid and Jessica Scorpio.

DJ’s Lightwaves and Rex Riot also performed, and the crowd danced and munched on food from Chaplin’s, Dolci Gelati and Pepe Food Truck. Getaround is a peer-to-peer car sharing community, providing car rentals that you can rent by the hour and unlock with your phone.
