We joined the 20th anniversary of the Fresh Farm Market fundraiser Tuesday, honoring Nora Pouillon, at Dock5 at Union Market. Two of the area’s favorite chefs co-chaired the evening, which served some of Chef Nora’s favorite dishes from her recently closed organic restaurant: D.C.’s Ris Restaurant’s Ris Lacoste and Woodberry Kitchen’s Spike Gjerde, Baltimore’s first James Beard award winner.

Chef Nora Pouillon, whose Restaurant Nora has been a favorite of Washingtonians for years, is with the event organizer, Corro Noble Associates CEO Lizette Corro. Nora helped found the organization in 1997 to connect food, farmers and communities here. It started with a Sunday market in Dupont Circle and there are now 15 healthy food markets during the week all over the DMV.
