For a more sedate Valentine's Day experience, Saturday we also went to the French Embassy Valentine's Soiree: A Rendezvous in Paris. We snapped International Club of DC prez Sanjaya Hettihewa, Boone & Sons Jewelers' Octavia Campbell, Bahrain Embassy’s Mubarak Buti and Madison Clough.
Over 250 guests decked out in black tie and cocktail attire joined the International Club of DC at the stylish soiree to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Here, Embassy of Ireland's Jessica Kincaid, DoD's Katie Penry, consultant Heather Turner and contractor Ismat Yassin.
The soirée featured cuisine prepared by the French Embassy chef along with delectable desserts, open bar with wine, sparkling wine and spirits, video art projections, a silent auction of art from Latin America and the Caribbean. Here, Lakeside Occupational Medical Centers founder Brenda Jacobsen and Vedder Price's Sadina Montani.
Dinner during the VIP reception included arugula salad, charcuteries, cheeses, chicken basquaise and veal blanquette. Music was by Joe Enroughty and His Royal Virginians, a Big Band Dance Orchestra. Here, MRC Construction Corp prez Robin Saucier with Colleen Stover.
